Community Conversations
FREE virtual conversations that bring women together around the experiences, opportunities, and challenges that shape our lives and leadership. Led by Leadership Salon Society Founders and invited voices, these sessions offer practical insight, shared experience, meaningful connection, and resources women can use.
October Conversations
LSS October Conversations brings women together for honest, supportive conversations about experiences that affect our lives, our well-being, and how we show up in the world.
This October, we're creating space to go beyond awareness and talk about what women actually experience, what we can learn from one another, and where knowledge, advocacy and support can make a difference.
Through Beyond the Pink and Beyond Closed Doors, LSS Founders, women with lived experience, and knowledgeable professionals will come together for conversations designed to inform, connect and support.
Free and open to the community. Registration is required.

Beyond the pink series
Beyond the Pink moves beyond traditional Breast Cancer Awareness Month messaging to make room for the conversations women don't always get to have.
Across four Tuesday evening conversations, we'll explore self-advocacy, the emotional realities behind a diagnosis, life after treatment, and the lessons women who have experienced breast cancer want other women to know.
These are not lectures. They're candid, supportive conversations informed by professional knowledge, lived experience, and the questions women bring with them.
Attend one conversation or join us for the entire series. Each session stands on its own and is free and open to the community.
about the host

Linda Pierce, RN, BSN, Doctor of Naturopathy
Public Health • Naturopathy & Integrative Wellness • Women's Health • Health Education • Breast Cancer Survivor
Linda brings more than four decades of healthcare knowledge and a deeply personal perspective to Beyond the Pink. A registered nurse since 1979, she spent 36 years with the Commonwealth of Virginia, primarily in public health, with additional experience in childbirth education, pediatric home care and community health advocacy.
In 2011, Linda earned her Doctorate of Naturopathy, building upon her healthcare background with an approach centered on supporting the whole person. Her study and practice of naturopathy encompasses nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, movement, stress management, sleep and other natural approaches intended to support health and the body's healing processes.
Linda's passion is empowering people with information so they can become informed, active participants in their own wellness. She believes health decisions are strengthened when people understand the options available to them and are equipped to ask questions, explore perspectives and make choices in partnership with their healthcare providers.
Her perspective on breast cancer is also profoundly personal. As a breast cancer survivor, Linda understands what it means to navigate the questions, decisions and realities of breast cancer from both sides of the healthcare conversation.
Throughout Beyond the Pink, Linda brings these experiences together: decades in nursing and public health, extensive study of naturopathy and whole-person wellness, a lifelong commitment to health education, and the lived experience of breast cancer survivorship.
“Health is our first wealth.”

We'll talk about becoming an active participant in your own care and finding the confidence to keep advocating for yourself when you need answers. Whether you're navigating a breast health concern, supporting someone you love, or simply want to become a stronger advocate for your own health, this conversation offers information and perspective women can carry with them.
